Noun(నామవాచకం )

Noun అనగా నామవాచకం. .

Noun అనేది ఒక వాక్యంలో  పేరును లేదా కర్త(పేరు ను తెలియజేసే పదం) ను తెలియజేస్తుంది.
ఉదాహరణకి
Ramu is watching TV.

India is my country. లో india అనేది దేశం యొక్క పేరు ను సూచిస్తుంది. కాబట్టి india అనేది noun.

2.common noun

3.collective noun

4.material noun

5.abstract noun

1.proper noun:

Proper noun అనగా ప్రత్యేకంగా ఒకరి గురించి లేదా ఒక వస్తువు  గురించి తెలియజేస్తుంది.

ప్రత్యేకంగా ఒకే మనిషి,ఒకే స్థలం,ఒకే వస్తువు,ఒకే జంతువు యొక్క పేరును మాత్రమే తెలియజేస్తుంది.

A Proper noun is the name of a "particular" person, place, thing or  animal .

Ex: Raju  is reading a book.

Hyderabad is one of the best tourist places.

Rule: proper noun లో మొదటి అక్షరం capital letter తో రాస్తాము.

2.Common noun:

Common noun అనగా సాధారణమైన పేరు లేదా ఒకే జాతికి చెందిన పేరు.

ఒకే జాతికి, ఒకే తగతికి చెందిన వ్యక్తులకు, స్థలాలకు  లేదా వస్తువులకు సాధారణంగా ఉండే పేరు.

It is a common name of persons  or places  or animals  

Ex:doctor, boy, friend, river, school.
i went to a city
my brother is a doctor.

difference between common noun and proper noun :

Common Noun      :    proper Noun

1. Ocean                             Indian Ocean

2. Country                         Australia

3.mountain                        Mount Everest

4. Dog                                julie(pet Name)

5. Man                               Ramu

6.Doctor                            Dr. subrmaniyam

ex :my dog name is julie.

ఇక్కడ dog common noun అవుతుంది . julie ప్రేత్యేకంగా కుక్క పేరు కాబట్టి అది proper noun  అవుతుంది . 

3.collective noun:

Collective noun అనగా ఒక సముదాయము లేదా ఒక గుంపు యొక్క పేరు.

మనుషుల గుంపును,వస్తువుల సముదాయమును, జంతువుల గుంపును ఒకే పదంలో తెలియజేయును.

It is collection of persons, things or animals.

Examples:

People: board, choir, class, committee, family, group, jury, panel, staff, army, police(police ని ప్లురల్ లో కూడా పోలీస్ అని అంటారు )
Animals: flock, herd, pod, swarm.
Things: bunch, collection, fleet, flotilla, pack, set.

flock of sheeps is going.
their family  decided to go.

4.Material noun:

Material noun అనగా పదార్థం యొక్క పేరును తెలియజేయును.
*ఈ పదార్థాల నుండి వేరే పదార్థాలను తాయారు చేయవచ్చు.
*వీటిని మనం లెక్కబెట్టలేము .
పై రెండు లక్షణాలు  ఉన్నవి మాత్రమే material  Nouns  అవుతాయి.

పదార్థములు రెండు రకములు.

ఘన పదార్థాలు(solid material)

ద్రవ పదార్థాలు(liquid material)

Ex:gold, salt, iron, silver, copper, coal, water, milk.

Rule: material noun కి ముందు ఎలాంటి article(a,an,the) ఉపయోగించకూడదు.
gold is becoming very expensive nowadays.
I drink milk daily in the night.

5.abstract noun:

Abstract noun స్వభావము ,పనితనమును, బావోద్వేగము(ఎమోషన్)  లేదా స్థితిని  తెలియజేయును.
వాటిని మనము చూడలేము, వినలేము, తాకలేము, వాసన కూడా చూడలేము . ఇది బౌతికంగా ఉండదు. కేవలము మనం ఆస్వాదించగలం మరియు అనుభవించగలం . క్రింది ఉదాహరణాలు చుస్తే అర్ధం చేసుకోవచ్చు.

Ex: goodness, kindness, honesty, movement, childhood, liberty, anger, freedom, love, generosity, charity.
