'Above' preposition usage and explanation through Telugu with examples

                                        

                                 Above - మీద ,పైనా 

1. ఈ Preposition ని  కన్నా ఎక్కువ అని చెప్పేటప్పుడు వాడుతాము (higher than’, ‘greater than’ or ‘more than’.)

The plane is flying above the clouds. (Higher than )

ఆ విమానము మేఘాల కన్నా మీద ఎగురుతుంది. 

His age is above thirty (more than)

అతని వయస్సు 30 పైన ఉన్నది. 

She is above average in  the intelligence. (Greater than )

ఆమె మేధస్సు సగటు కన్నా ఎక్కువ. 

The river is flowing above the danger level 

ఆ నది ప్రమాదకర స్థాయి కంటే ఎక్కువగా ప్రవహిస్తుంది 

2. official writings లో లేదా letters లో లేదా articles లో, ' పైన చెప్పిన విదంగా ' లేదా 'పైన సూచించినట్టుగా ' అని చెప్పే సందర్భాలలో above ని వాడతాము .

3. ఒక విషయాన్ని మనం అంత తొందరగా అర్థం చేసుకోలేము అని చెప్పేటప్పుడు

 ( ఇది informal గ మాట్లాడుకోవడానికి  )

Einstein’s theories have always been above me. (= I have always had difficulty understanding Einstein’s theories.)

Einstein’s సిద్ధాంతాలు అర్థంచేసుకోవటం నాకు కష్టం ( నా intelligence స్థాయి కంటే అది ఎక్కువ అని చెప్పినట్టు)

above ని adverb గ కూడా వాడుతారు .

పైన సూచించినట్లుగ అందరు ఉద్యోగులు సూచనలు తప్పకుండ ఆచరించాలి .
