'Before' Preposition usage and explanation with examples in english

 

Before

1. ఒక   నిర్దిష్ట సమయం లేదా ఒక పని కంటే ముందు లేదా position లో ఒకరి కన్నా ముందు లేదా ఒకదాని కన్నా ముందు  అని చెప్పడానికి 

    He has met me before lunch 

    అతను lunch కి ముందే నన్ను కలిసాడు. 

    He arrived before me

    నేను వచ్చేకన్నా ముందు అతను వచ్చాడు 

2. ఒకరి ముందు, అంటే వేరే అతనికి నీ ప్రదర్శన చూపించటానికి  లేదా అతనితో పోరాడడానికి లేదా మాట్లాడడానికి, లేదా అడిగే ప్రశ్నలకు సమాధానం చెప్పడానికి ఒకరి ముందు ఉంటె 

   He acts like an innocent before his father. 

   అతను తన తండ్రి ముందు అమాయకుడిలాగా నటిస్తాడు 

   You insulted me before the manager 

    మేనేజర్ ముందు నువ్వు నా పరువు  తీసావు 

     He admitted all his crimes before witnesses 

    అతను సాక్షుల ముందు అతని అన్ని నేరాలు ఒప్పుకున్నాడు 

   The team performs well before their home crowd 

   ఆ టీం వాళ్ళ సొంత ప్రజల(Audience ) ముందు బాగా ఆడుతుంది . 

3. ముందున్న సవాళ్లు అని చెప్పేటప్పుడు 

     The task before us is a daunting one

    మన ముందు ఉన్న పని చాలా కష్టమైన పని 

4. ఒక authority , లేదా అధికారి లేదా court ముందు ప్రవేశపెట్టడం. 

   Please  bring him before the court 

  అతని court ముందు హాజరు పర్చండి 

  All are equal before the law

  చట్టం ముందు అందరు సమానులే 

5. కొన్నింటిలో ఒక దాని ప్రాధాన్యతను తెలపటానికి 

   I have many tasks to do. But i will complete this file before all. Our manager will ask for it.  

   నాకు చాల పనులు ఉన్నాయి. కానీ నేను అన్నింటికన్నా ముందు ఈ ఫైల్ చేస్తాను. ఎందుకంటే మన మేనేజర్ దీని     కోసం అడుగుతాడు .
