'Behind' preposition usage and explanation with examples in Telugu

 Behind (వెనక)

1. ఒకరి వెనక లేదా ఒక వస్తువు వెనక  అని చెప్పడానికి (at the back of )

   Who's the girl standing behind you ? 

    నీ వెనకాల  నిలుచున్న ఆ అమ్మాయి ఎవరు ? 

   Look behind you 

   నీ వెనకాల చూడు

    The thief was hidden out of sight behind a tree.

    ఆ దొంగ కనిపించకుండా చెట్టు  పెట్టబడ్డాడు. (అంటే వేరే వాళ్ళు అతడిని దాచారు అని అర్థం )

   

2. 'ఆలస్యం' అని చెప్పడానికి 

   We're behind schedule

    మనం schedule కంటే వెనకబడి ఉన్నాము (late ఉన్నాము  అని అర్థం )

3. వెనకబడి ఉండటం (వృద్ధి లో లేదా పురోగతి లో- Development, Progress )
   He's behind the rest of the class in studies.

   అతను  క్లాస్ లో మిగతా వాళ్లందరికంటే చదువులో వెనకబడిఉన్నాడు . 

4. ఒకరు చనిపోయి లేదా వాడాల్సి వేళ్ళపోయినప్పుడు వదిలేసి వెళ్లిన దాని గురించి చెప్పేటప్పుడు 

   He died in a road accident, and left behind his 6 year old son and his wife. 

   అతను రోడ్డు ప్రమాదం లో చనిపోయి తన 6 సంవత్సరాల కొడుకుని మరియు అతని భార్యని వదిలేసి                 వెళ్ళిపోయాడు. 

5. మద్దతు ఇవ్వడం అని చెప్పేటప్పుడు ( giving support)

  Whatever you decide to do, I'll be behind you

  నువ్వేం నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నా, నీ వెనక నేను ఉన్నాను (నీకు సపోర్ట్ గ)

6. ఒక దాని వెనక రహస్యం ఉంది అని చెప్పేటప్పుడు 

    There is some conspiracy behind his murder 

    అతని మర్డర్ వెనక  ఒక    కుట్ర ఉన్నది. 

  There is a secret behind this universe 

  ఈ విశ్వం వెనక ఒక అంతుచిక్కని రహస్యం ఉన్నది 

7. ఒక దాని వెనక ఒకరి కృషి లేదా ఒకరివల్లనే/ఒకదాని వల్లే ఇది జరిగింది(మంచి అయినా చేదు అయినా) అని చెప్పడానికి (responsible /cause ) 

   He was the man behind the plan to build a bridge. 

   ఆ బ్రిడ్జి నిర్మించటానికి ప్రధాన కారణం అతనే.
